This could be one of the worst dance clubs I have ever visited in my life. No exaggeration.
1) 50% of the clients were male migrants and refugees acting all aggressive with the ladies, and the ladies were pushing them away
2) The Quebec guys and ladies were the ugly type who have lots of tattoos, dread-locks hair and funky clothes and shaved heads. Not the classy Quebec guys and girls. I saw many middle fingers that night. No class.
3) Music was nice.
4) beer was a good price
5) Club smelled like dirty socks.
6) Design of the club is not for me. very unnatural design.
7) If you are unemployed and enjoy smoking, then I am sure you will enjoy this place.

I had the most rudest of awakening's last night when I attempted to enter le fou du roi in Gatineau (sector hull), the two young men at the door , I guess they where door men , would not let me in , the reason why you ask ?, well they said I had to take my suit jacket off, you see my suit is made of the new look that came out last year , its a bit leathery looking but its made of a synthetic material and it looks exactly like a suit jacket and vest ,NOT MADE OF LEATHER AT ALL, I tried to explain this to them also telling them why I could not take it off ( I had just come from work and had to many things in my pockets and was afraid of losing the content of my pockets) even going to the trouble of showing them the fabric content label , but to no avail , these young men had decided that because I did not want to take my jacket off I was
persona non Grata in this bar, I have been going to le fou for over twenty five years , I knew Lionel the owner when he was alive and I'm sure he is spinning in his grave over this bullshit, for years now I have spent thousands OF DOLLARS in this establishment and for these two obviously rude power hungry ridiculous little twerps to insult me in that fashion was and is the last straw , I will never set foot in there again , and to tell you the truth since Lionel died the place is going rapidly down hill.
A suggestion for does fashion morons at the door , go shopping once in a while and bring your selves up to the twenty first century .
PS, I also was amused to see that I could not walk in with my suit jacket but many of the young men did walk in with pants hanging bellow there underwear and in long floppy t -shirts how sad for this establishment to be so low class.
